Sex & Death! We are concerned with the evolution of life histories; how an organism develops, reproduces and dies. A special and central theme of our work is the consequences of separate sexes. The existence of females and males in populations (as opposed to just females) has manifold consequences for the variation that occurs in populations. It also causes a vast range of genetic diseases and disabilities.
